Author Guidelines

The Journal of Economics, Accounting, Management (JEAM) requires authors to follow the guidelines below to ensure that manuscripts meet formatting and quality standards.


1. Manuscript Format

  • Language: Manuscripts may be written in Bahasa Indonesia or English.

  • Article Length: Articles should be between 5,000–8,000 words, including abstract, tables, and references.

  • Font: Use Times New Roman, size 12 pt, with 1.5 spacing.

  • Margins: Set 2.5 cm on all sides.

  • File Format: Submit the manuscript in Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx) format.


2. Article Structure

Manuscripts should follow this structure:

  • Title

    • The title should be concise, informative, and reflect the content of the article (maximum 20 words).

  • Abstract

    • Length: 150–250 words.

    • Describe the purpose, method, main findings, and conclusion.

    • Include 3–5 keywords.

  • Introduction

    • Explain the background, research objectives, and contribution of the article.

  • Research Methodology

    • Detail the research design, data collection methods, analytical tools, and procedures used.

  • Results and Discussion

    • Present findings clearly using tables or graphs as needed.

    • Discuss the implications of the results for theory or practice.

  • Conclusion and Suggestions

    • Summarize the main findings and provide recommendations for future research or practice.

  • References

    • Use the APA Style, 7th edition formatting standard.


3. Citation and Reference Format

Authors must adhere to APA Style, 7th edition for citations and references. Examples:

  • Journal Article:

    Smith, J. (2020). The impact of leadership on organizational performance. Journal of Business Studies, 35(4), 123–135. https://doi.org/xxxx

  • Book:

    Brown, T. (2018). Financial management: A practical guide. New York: McGraw-Hill.

  • Book Chapter:

    Wilson, P. (2019). Strategic management frameworks. In J. Taylor (Ed.), Business strategies for the 21st century (pp. 45–67). London: Routledge.


4. Supplementary Files

Authors are encouraged to upload supplementary files to enhance reader engagement. These may include:

  • Data Sets: Raw data used in the analysis.

  • Research Instruments: Questionnaires or other tools used in the research.

  • Additional Tables/Charts: Supporting materials not included in the main article.
