Abstract

This study examines the role of interpersonal communication and organizational culture in managing workplace conflict in the digital era. Using a qualitative approach, data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and document analysis. The findings indicate that interpersonal communication emphasizing empathy, openness, and immediate feedback reduces misunderstandings and expedites conflict resolution. Additionally, an inclusive and adaptive organizational culture fosters a harmonious and productive work environment. While digital technology accelerates communication, it also heightens the risk of miscommunication, necessitating strategic and effective management. This study contributes theoretically by highlighting the importance of empathy in interpersonal communication and offers practical insights for organizations to develop a collaborative, innovative, and adaptable work culture. Limitations include a narrow respondent scope and the absence of specific analysis of certain technologies. Future research should broaden sector coverage, include more respondents, and delve deeper into the role of digital communication technology.
